Volunteering Is Good for the Body and Soul

Rebuilding Together Monterey/Salinas is an all-volunteer organization. In addition to the all-volunteer board, up to 200 volunteers assemble for the semi-annual Rebuild Days, usually in October for national “Make a Difference Day” and again in May for Rebuilding Together’s national Rebuild Day.

While the Rebuilding Together Monterey/Salinas board members plan year-round for these events, the majority of the skilled and unskilled volunteers gather to paint, fix plumbing, install flooring, build fences, landscape, and make many other needed repairs on these semi-annual Rebuild Days. If it were not for the countless volunteers, the homeowners who benefit from this community effort would not be able to live in warmth, safety and independence.

Volunteer Waivers

Due to the nature of a work site, all volunteers must sign a waiver form. Volunteers also must be at least 18 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must complete a youth waiver form and have it signed by their parent or guardian. Youth group volunteerism is encouraged, but all participating youth groups must have an adult team leader.
To expedite the process, please download an individual, youth or group form and bring the signed copy with you to the work site.
